Why The Rich Get Richer and the Poor Get Poorer (Rich vs Poor)
Do you know that only 1% of people in the world control 45% of global wealth?
You can call it the great ancient divide. what separates the rich from the poor is as far apart as the east is from the west. While they are obviously separated by what they can afford, who they can keep company with, and where you can find them, the real difference starts from the mindset.
I am going to be giving you qualities, though patterns, habits and behaviors that show how a rich mindset individual differs from a poor mindset individual and why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
A Rich mindset plays the money game to win. The poor play the money game to not lose.
You cannot win when all you focus on is your fear of losing. The rich are focused on the opportunities, the potentials and possibilities, while the poor are focused on not losing the little that they have. They are concerned with risks, threats and weaknesses. I don’t mean to say that the rich are careless or callous, they just focus on winning while the poor are focused with staying alive and managing the crumbs that life pitifully throw their ways.
- A rich mindset is committed to being rich while the poor mindset wants to be rich.
The number one reason most people don’t get what they want is that they don’t know what they want. The rich are totally clear that they want wealth. They are unwavering in their desire and they are fully committed to creating wealth and they will do whatever it takes to have it. Rich mindset people do not send mixed messages to the universe. To get what you want, you need to have the design drilled down to specifics in your subconscious mind. For example, if you desire to have a new car, you need to know the exact make and model, color, type of seats, tires, interior design, audio etc. The universe will only grant things to people that know exactly what they want and are willing to go hard after it.
- Rich mindset people see opportunities and focus on rewards. Poor mindset people see obstacles and focus on the risks. They often see potential loss and are driven by fear.
Rich mindset people see potential growth, take responsibility for the results in their lives, and hold the mindset that “It will work because I’ll make it work.” Rich mindset people is committed enough to do whatever it takes.
- Rich mindset people focus on accomplishing bigger goals, while poor mindset people focus on survival.
Your experience in life is closely related to your focus. Rich mindset people often focusses on creating value, building empires and improving their financial status. Rich mindset people is constantly chasing their dreams while the poor are focused on chasing away their nightmares.
The advantage of having positive mental energy is that it always come with the freedom to pursue goals, dreams and aspirations, as opposed to being bogged down by the pressures of escaping a life of dodging penury and vanquishing poverty.
- Rich mindset people are almost always excellent self-promoters while the poor often shun self-promotion and deem this as an act of arrogance.
Wealth creation has to do with value exchange and you cannot exchange anything if you cannot get people to see and know what you have.
Rich mindset people is willing to step out of his comfort zone to promote themselves, their products, services and ideas with passion and enthusiasm.
Resenting promotion is one of the greatest obstacles to success. People who have issues with selling and promotion are usually broke.
- Rich and successful people are solution-oriented, and their interest lies in solving problems for others which intern creates benefits to themselves in the end. The poor will do anything to avoid adding more problems to the jam-packed bag of issues that they already carry.
Rich mindset people spend time and energy strategizing and planning the answers to challenges that come up and creating systems to make certain that problem doesn’t reoccur. Poor mindset people on the other hand are willing to throw in the towel anytime and blame people and circumstances for anything in and around their lives. Rich mindset people do not back away from problems, do not avoid problems, and do not complain about problems.
They are not only bold, but are also not afraid of confrontations, failures, setbacks and controversy. They are natural problem solvers and they believe they were born to change situation and circumstances. Poor mindset people on the other hand always try to play the victim when confronted with challenges and the realities of life.
- Rich mindset people work hard and believe it’s perfectly appropriate and necessary to be well rewarded for their efforts in providing value to others. Rich mindset people offer premium value and expect to be paid back in premium rewards.
Poor mindset people work hard and are often either clueless about the real value of their hard work or do not know how to increase their value to attract greater rewards in return for their work.
- Rich mindset people believe in themselves. They believe in their value and in their ability to deliver it.
Poor mindset people don’t. That’s why they need “guarantees.”
Wealth is not entirely about the size of your bank account; it has to do with who you are or more importantly, who you have come to believe yourself to be. Rich mindset people are confident because they believe in themselves and are always conscious of the creative force within them. The poor on the other hand look down on themselves and fail to realize their true worth and potential.
10.Rich mindset people have the skills to manage and grow money. They learn the secrets of attracting wealth through mentorship, experience or rigorous studies and training. Poor mindset people often have zero money management skills and often avoid the subject of money altogether.
- Rich mindset people have their money work hard for them while poor mindset people work hard for their money.
The rich mindset understands that every dollar is a seed that can be planted to earn a hundred more dollars, which can then be replanted to earn a thousand more dollars.
Eventually, rich mindset people get the choice to work or not.
The Poor mindset is usually too mentally poor to think of investing. I am not just talking about the thought of investing but the practical steps required to get your money to work for you. You will never be able to free yourself from the dark shackles of poverty if you don’t learn how to make your money work hard for you.
- Rich mindset people are willing to act in spite of fear. Poor mindset people let fear stop them.
Rich mindset people are not necessarily the smartest people on earth, but they are usually people who are bold enough to take risks even in the face of fear. It is important to note here that the fear of the unknown is common to both rich mindset people and the poor. Even rich mindset people also cry, have doubts and often worry; however, rich mindset people face their fears and take responsibility while the poor blame their failure and poverty on their fears, worries and doubts.
If you are willing to do only what’s easy, life will be hard. But if you’re willing to do what’s hard, life will be easy.
That is my top twelve differences.
